The end of the semester is drawing near, and with it: Graduation!
That’s right, I’m finally done with school. OK… almost done with school. You see, I dropped my Artificial Intelligence class this semester. It was just too much work for me too handle, and it wasn’t nearly as cool as I thought it was going to be. So, I have to take 1 summer school class to compensate. Therefore, I will be officially graduating in August. I guess the only bad thing about being done with school is that I won’t get to take weird picture on campus like this:
After this summer I will officially have my degree in Computer Science. I will be a certified computer nerd and I’ll be ready to work full time. My job at Synapse Studios is going well though. I like it there, and the guys are way awesome. Our new office in Tempe (on Mill Ave) is so sweet. I’ll have some pictures of that soon. I will become a full-time employee after school is done in mid-May.
Penny is excited for the end of school too. She has had a tough group of kids at Keller this year, and she has had a rough time. She’s not sure how much longer she wants to stay working there, and we are wanting to have a kid sometime soon too. However, Penny is almost burnt out on kids between her job at Keller; her respite jobs; and babysitting her little brother, nieces, and nephews.
Last week, Penny’s older sister, Aneisa, came to town to show off her new baby (and as a pit stop before going to Disneyland). We got to ooh and awe over the baby and hold it and make it laugh and smile. It was fun. It was probably the first time that I actually wanted to have a baby of my own to hold. I like kids, but I have never really thought of myself as a baby person. However, Penny loves babies, even to the point where I am scared she might eat our firstborn (just kidding, of course).
Engagements! I think almost all of my friends are married off or engaged now (except for Steve Cox—come on ladies!). Some of my friends that have recently become engaged include Laurie Beames, Megan Moffat, Josh Alston, Laura LeSueur, Dallin Ellingson and Jeff Moyer. Congratulations to all them.
P.S. The Heroes Season Finale was great.
