It seems like things have gotten busier since school got out, but it sure is nice to be out of school. Penny is done now too, and probably won’t be going back to her job at Keller in the Fall. She has three clients with respite program though, and they will keep her busy this summer.
Man, I am swamped. I haven’t officially started working full-time just yet (couple more weeks) but I am still putting in about 40 hours a week, and its a lot of work. I use to do 40 hours at the Carwasher during the summers (and though they were good times with the family, I am glad that I don’t have to work there anymore… it’s just not my thing) but I still feel like I have no time right now. Also, I’m trying to write two websites in my spare time: the new Regular Heroes website (not done) and Giveaweigh (my charity website, not done). By the way, the Regular Heroes album is almost done. It’s exciting! I’m actually going to the studio this week with Jared to finish up the back up vocals.
Well, that’s the update for now. You should check out Wolfram|Alpha though if you have some spare time. It is a “computational knowledge engine” that performs math, analyzes facts, and other things. Try searching for things like “$75,000/yr”, “x^2 sin(x)”, “D# Ab G C#”, or “China, Russia”. It’s fun!

If this idea sounds interesting and you want to know more, want to help, or want to lose weight with me, send me an email or get in touch with me on Facebook or Twitter. I plan on using the proceeds to benefit Christian and Stephanie Nielson and Magaret Manning. I haven’t talked to either of them about this yet, but I will soon, once I get the ball rolling.
Click here to leave a commentI chanced upon this video of Richelle Talbot singing on YouTube last night. It is from October, but I never new she did this. For those of you that don’t know, my friend Richelle has an amazing voice. You are about to find out for yourself. She recorded this cover of Held by Natalie Grant in her dad’s studio and dedicated it to Christian and Stephanie Nielson, who are survivors of a terrible private plane accident last August. Christian and Stephanie miraculously survived, but were severely injured. Stephanie, who got the worst of it, received burns on about 80% of her body. They have both recovered, and are trying to return back to normal life. However, the costs of months of hospitalization and dozens of surgical procedures along with other things have been insurmountable. If you would like to help them, find out how by visiting the Nie Recovery website. Also, there is a benefit concert being held Saturday, April 18th at 7:00pm in the Gilbert High School Auditorium (Gilbert, AZ). Christian and Stephanie are cousins to Penny, so we would love it if you helped them.
Anyways, Richelle is awesome. Check out this YouTube video of her singing.
