Where do Mormons get their name from?

To most of the world Mormons are called Mormons, but what is a Mormon? What significance does that word and name have? Most people don’t know or realize that the Mormon religion has a name other than “Mormon”. The actual and preferred name of the religion is “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints”. This name is long and doesn’t roll off the tongue so easy, but it is named so for a reason.

Ask a Mormon ninja: the new Ninjormon video

The new Ninjormon video (#2) was released recently. For those unfamiliar with the Ninjormon: The Ninjormon is a parody on the character from Ask a Ninja. It is made by my brother-in-law, Jared Nielson, and his friend, Ted Sowards. The humor is mostly for Mormons, but if you know anything about them or their interesting and unique cultural and social mannerisms, you may find the Ninjormon entertaining.
