The end of the semester is drawing near, and with it: Graduation!
That’s right, I’m finally done with school. OK… almost done with school. You see, I dropped my Artificial Intelligence class this semester. It was just too much work for me too handle, and it wasn’t nearly as cool as I thought it was going to be. So, I have to take 1 summer school class to compensate. Therefore, I will be officially graduating in August. I guess the only bad thing about being done with school is that I won’t get to take weird picture on campus like this:
Category: Family, LifeAt the end of December, Penny and I took a trip to Disneyland and California Adventure for our first anniversary. It was a total blast. As we were waiting at the airport on the day of our anniversary, I was thinking about how much I loved her and was thankful for her. A few words gathered in my mind, and I wrote a brief poem for her:
It’s been a whole year, my dear,
But when I kiss your lips,
I still feel the fire singing like a choir
For more coal, and then I know…
That I will long for you until I die.
And though I’m not the greatest husband, I will try
To be,
Until you see
That I’m yours forever.
I chanced upon this video of Richelle Talbot singing on YouTube last night. It is from October, but I never new she did this. For those of you that don’t know, my friend Richelle has an amazing voice. You are about to find out for yourself. She recorded this cover of Held by Natalie Grant in her dad’s studio and dedicated it to Christian and Stephanie Nielson, who are survivors of a terrible private plane accident last August. Christian and Stephanie miraculously survived, but were severely injured. Stephanie, who got the worst of it, received burns on about 80% of her body. They have both recovered, and are trying to return back to normal life. However, the costs of months of hospitalization and dozens of surgical procedures along with other things have been insurmountable. If you would like to help them, find out how by visiting the Nie Recovery website. Also, there is a benefit concert being held Saturday, April 18th at 7:00pm in the Gilbert High School Auditorium (Gilbert, AZ). Christian and Stephanie are cousins to Penny, so we would love it if you helped them.
Anyways, Richelle is awesome. Check out this YouTube video of her singing.

Some of you might be wondering what kind of things Penny and Jeremy do (did) on St. Patrick’s Day. Well, these two videos might satiate those burning desires in your bosoms. I’ll give a hint… it involves sugar, YouTube, and riverdancing.
And one more video…
Category: Family, Funny, Life, VideosMy friends Devin and Marian had an interesting post on their blog yesterday, and I thought that I would have some fun as well. What you do is go to Google and type in your name and the words “is like” into the search box. You should put the whole thing in quotes so that Google looks for the whole phrase together. So, for my name, I would search for “Jeremy is like”. You end up with a lot of really funny results. Some could even be on fortune cookies. So, I did this for my name and Penny’s name to see what Google says about us. Note: for Penny and used both her nickname (Penny) and her real name (Autumn).

2008 was a fun year. It really flew by too. Apparently, after you get married, years start flying by. I’m getting older and chubbier too. Let’s catch everybody up on what happened with the Lindblom’s in 2008.

Trumpets burst forth from the heavens to announce the grand opening of Jeremy and Penny’s blog!
Welcome, welcome friends, family, peers, contemporaries, associates, etc. I’m announcing the beginning of our blog. I have felt the need to create one for some time, but now it is here. What should you expect to see on this blog? Well, I’ll spell it out for you:
