The second SWAT Analysis is now up on YouTube (first one here). Jared gives a hilarious summary and review of the new X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie. If you haven’t seen the actual movie, this will contain spoilers… sort of. If you have seen it already, you will totally understand what is going on. I generally enjoyed the movie, but there were some things that were pretty hokey, and Jared points these out very well. Check it out:

The SWAT Analysis is a new set of online videos featuring writing and acting by Jared Nielson (my brother-in-law and the same guy who did the Ninjormon). This first one brings some humor to tax day. Check it out, and share it with your friends.

What would an average day in the life of Mario be like? We know he does a lot of collecting coins and jumping and running about, but what else falls into his daily routine? I made this video almost two years ago, but it is still funny to me. I realized that I had’t even posted my own video on my own blog. So here it is in all of its glory: An Average Day With Mario
Thank goodness for Super Mario!
The Mario in me was able to rescue Princess Penny, and ever since then she’s stayed by my side. We made this movie before we even started dating, but we were hanging out so much around that time that this movie helped us to segue into a beautiful relationship that led into our engagement and marriage. Thanks to Erica Faler for suggesting the idea. Thanks to Steve Cox, Derek Sloan, Shaila Pew, Brian Nielson and Jensen Clifford for guest starring. Thanks to Stephen Moyer for filming. Thanks to Steve Cox for letting me use his video editing equipment and giving me some pointers. Thanks to Ted Sowards for producing the video with the others (like the Ninjormon) for YouTube. Thanks to my wonderful wife who is even sillier than me sometimes. Hooray for Super Mario and Nintendo.
Category: Life, VideosI chanced upon this video of Richelle Talbot singing on YouTube last night. It is from October, but I never new she did this. For those of you that don’t know, my friend Richelle has an amazing voice. You are about to find out for yourself. She recorded this cover of Held by Natalie Grant in her dad’s studio and dedicated it to Christian and Stephanie Nielson, who are survivors of a terrible private plane accident last August. Christian and Stephanie miraculously survived, but were severely injured. Stephanie, who got the worst of it, received burns on about 80% of her body. They have both recovered, and are trying to return back to normal life. However, the costs of months of hospitalization and dozens of surgical procedures along with other things have been insurmountable. If you would like to help them, find out how by visiting the Nie Recovery website. Also, there is a benefit concert being held Saturday, April 18th at 7:00pm in the Gilbert High School Auditorium (Gilbert, AZ). Christian and Stephanie are cousins to Penny, so we would love it if you helped them.
Anyways, Richelle is awesome. Check out this YouTube video of her singing.

Heroes is one of my favorite shows and I rarely miss it. Seasons 2 and 3 have not been nearly as good as season 1, but I still watch it and enjoy. This past week’s episode, however, was very good, and it also marked the return of Bryan Fuller to the writing staff of the show. He has been sorely missed. Check out the episode on Hulu.
Category: Thoughts, VideosSome of you might be wondering what kind of things Penny and Jeremy do (did) on St. Patrick’s Day. Well, these two videos might satiate those burning desires in your bosoms. I’ll give a hint… it involves sugar, YouTube, and riverdancing.
And one more video…
Category: Family, Funny, Life, VideosI, for one, am in total agreement with the team at the Onion News Network. I believe these giant mutant crabs will be able to aid humanity in ways that we can’t help ourselves.

The Ninjormon strikes again with part 2 of Episode 2 about Ninjanaries (Ninja Missionaries). Did you know that a Ninjanary can be his own companion? Well, now you do.

The new Ninjormon video (#2) was released recently. For those unfamiliar with the Ninjormon: The Ninjormon is a parody on the character from Ask a Ninja. It is made by my brother-in-law, Jared Nielson, and his friend, Ted Sowards. The humor is mostly for Mormons, but if you know anything about them or their interesting and unique cultural and social mannerisms, you may find the Ninjormon entertaining. Check it out the Ninjormon videos on YouTube or from the Ninjormon website.
